In 1973, Lucio Altana moved to London to work at the infamous ‘San Lorenzo’. In 2003, after many a decade of being their Maître D’, he left to fulfil a dream of his; opening his own restaurant.

On 10th December 2003, Lucio, situated on the ‘Chelsea Cross’ junction of the Fulham road, opened its doors for the first time and has been offering a seasonal menu that changes monthly ever since.

Now Lucio’s sons, Dario and Mirko, work alongside their father to put a family touch on fine-dining Italian cuisine.

Executive chef, Antonio Carroccia, has been with us since we first opened. Originating from Puglia, his menus and plates never fail to please Lucio’s high standards.
